Job summary

Capital i is hiring an Accountant to support the finance team in financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. The role ensures accurate records and regulatory compliance within GAAP and government contracting standards.

Responsibilities include journal entries, GL maintenance, AP/AR processing, and assisting with monthly/annual closes. A CPA/CMA is advantageous, with ERP and payroll system experience preferred. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and process AP/AR functions.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with auditors and support year-end close tasks.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
