Brennan Staffing Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, audits, and operational accounting in a growing, highly regulated biotech environment.

The role entails preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activity and reconciliations, and partnering with procurement, project management, R&D, and operations to resolve accounting issues across inventory, payroll, cost of sales, and revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent.
• Experience in biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger activities, journals, accruals, and subledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate with procurement, R&D, and operations on inventory, cost of sales, and revenue recognition issues.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies; prepare audit schedules.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen financial operations.
• Support tax compliance and regulatory reporting, including R&D credits.
• Assist with new vendor setups and budget-to-actual variance reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and partner with cross-functional teams.
