Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of GASB/GAAP and municipal accounting practices.
• Experience with process automation and financial data analytics.
• Experience with ERP upgrades and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform GAAP/GASB-compliant financial analysis and GL reconciliations.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and reporting.
• Support audits and prepare ACFR documentation.
• Lead automation initiatives and ERP integrations with IT.
• Provide financial insights to departments and advise budgeting.
• Train staff on financial reporting and tax requirements.
• Balance and close monthly accounting cycles.
