Job summary

Crux Climate Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant to own the transactional layer of our accounting functions, including spend, payables, receivables, cash, and reconciliations across multiple entities.

You will ensure data accuracy, build scalable processes, and own end-to-end accounting tasks while collaborating across Crux teams. You will lead AI-assisted workflows and work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager to support close, audits, and intercompany accounting.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including startup exposure.
• Hands-on ownership of AP, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Hands-on experience with modern spend management tools and a cloud-based GL.

Responsibilities

• Spend management: Ramp/Navan administration, coding options, policy compliance.
• Payables and receivables: AP process, cash application, AR aging, cash forecasting.
• Close and reconciliations: monthly close, journal entries, bank/B/S reconciliations, audit prep.
• Systems and data: GL-to-subledger integrity, automation improvements including AI-assisted workflows.
