Crux is hiring a Senior Accountant to own spend, payables, receivables, cash, and reconciliations across a growing set of entities. You will ensure data accuracy and build scalable controls to support rapid growth, collaborating with teams across Crux and guiding peers on expense policy.

You will work in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment with AI-assisted workflows and close collaboration with the Senior Accounting Manager, enabling impact and growth.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on ownership of AP, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Hands-on experience with modern spend management tools (Ramp, Brex, Navan, Expensify, or similar) and a cloud-based GL.
• Exceptional reconciliation skills and comfort working with data across multiple connected systems.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups and reconciliation workbooks.
• Highly organized, with the discipline to follow a process and the judgment to improve it.
• Clear, friendly communication with non-finance teams, and the confidence to hold people to policy.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience building AI-assisted accounting workflows, and a builder’s instinct for automating repetitive work.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Responsabilités

• Spend management: Ramp and Navan administration, coding reviews, and policy compliance.
• Payables/receivables: manage AP process, cash application, AR aging, and unbilled receivables.
• Close and reconciliations: monthly close ownership, bank reconciliations, and GL tie-outs.
• Systems and data: maintain GL-to-subledger integrity, AI-assisted workflows, and HubSpot reconciliation.
