Job summary

HeroDevs LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close, ensure general ledger integrity, and own the accounts receivable function across US and international markets. You will collaborate with FP&A, Sales, and Customer Success, and support tax advisors.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting, experience in AR, and a focus on accuracy with an eye for process improvement through AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA-eligible a plus but not required; practical accounting experience matters.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Experience owning or supporting an accounts receivable function (invoicing, collections, dunning).
• Familiarity with US sales/use tax and VAT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve variances.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Own full AR lifecycle: invoicing, collections/dunning, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure invoices meet customer requirements and track AR aging and metrics.
