Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting across global balances and multiple entities. You will lead multi-entity reconciliations within a strict preparer/reviewer framework, ensuring audit-ready subledger integrity while applying U.S.

GAAP to complex receivables and bad debt models. You will drive AI-first automation, partner across OTC, Revenue, and FP&A, and support SOX controls and balance sheet accuracy in a fast-growing SaaS

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive AR and GL accounting experience in a mid-to-large organization, with ownership of month-end close and AR reporting.
• CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong U.S. GAAP judgment and ability to defend accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global AR Month-End Close and subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Model AFDA/CECL and provide monthly provisions with audit trails.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives across AR workflows using Databricks/LLMs.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity, flux analyses, and variance explanations.
• Support SOX controls and audit readiness with thorough workpapers.
• Collaborate with Billing, Revenue, FP&A and IT to standardize AR processes.
