United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the core accounting operations within the Finance & Accounting team at a pivotal growth stage in Los Angeles. You will manage the general ledger, drive the monthly close, and oversee AR/AP and inventory accounting end-to-end.

This hands-on role offers ownership of the close process. You will help build durable accounting systems, prepare for the first external audit, and shape controls and processes in a venture-backed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on month-end close
• Solid GAAP knowledge and ability apply to real transactions
• Hands-on AR and AP experience
• Experience preparing for external audit and workpaper prep
• Hands-on experience with an ERP as primary accounting system
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with large datasets
• AI-native mindset using AI tools to accelerate reconciliations and documentation
• Comfortable working hands-on on a small team

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly close process and deliver financial statements
• Post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain GL per GAAP and analyze variances
• Own AR/AP processes end-to-end including invoicing and collections
• Manage inventory accounting and reconciliations between systems and GL
• Support internal controls and policies; assist with audit readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues
• Contribute to management and board reporting
