Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting experience with full-cycle accounting.
• Experience managing month-end close, GL activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in a large, complex organization; public company exposure valued.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive, multi-priority in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and GL maintenance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely financial reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with financial statements and schedules in GAAP compliance.
• Maintain records and ensure internal controls and policies compliance.
• Support acquisition-related accounting and integration of new operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting.
• Assist with external audits and maintain documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows during scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Support acquisition-related accounting activities and the integration of newly acquired business operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Assist with external audits and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and contribute to ongoing process improvements as the company continues to scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting.
• Experience managing month-end close, general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience within a large, complex organization is highly preferred.
• Public company accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
