Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years in general ledger, month-end close and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

As the organization continues to scale, they are adding an Accountant to play a role in supporting core accounting operations and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Support the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing account analysis.
• Research accounting and financial questions for management, including investigating and explaining variances, trends, and results against expectations.
• Collaborate across departments and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Interpret and apply GAAP and other relevant accounting guidance to contracts, transactions, and business activities.
• Partner with internal teams on special projects supporting company growth and operational improvements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting as the business evolves.
• Serve as a trusted accounting partner to leadership by providing accurate financial information, thoughtful analysis, and clear insights.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial activity to non-accounting stakeholders
• Comfort working with sensitive, high-importance accounts where accuracy and discretion matter
• Interest in process improvement, systems, and continuous learning
• ERP experience or exposure is a plus, but not required
• Public accounting or distribution industry experience is helpful, but not mandatory
