Job summary

Radiance Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations, financial reporting, and government contract cost accounting.

The role ensures costs are correctly classified and recorded per policies and contract requirements, and supports billing and month-end close activities. The candidate will prepare reconciliations and contribute to audit readiness for DCAA reviews and other financial audits, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Job description

Position is primarily responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and government contract cost accounting activities. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring costs are properly classified as direct or indirect and recorded in accordance with established accounting policies and applicable contract requirements, supports government contract billing, preparing account reconciliations, assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ensuring audit readiness for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and other financial audits.

Required Skills

Required Experience

• 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.

Desired Qualifications

• Unanet GovCon experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
