Job summary

Addison Group partners with a wholesale HVAC organization in the United States to recruit a Senior Accountant who will own core general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial statement support.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA is preferred, and bring 3+ years of professional accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge, variance analysis, and coordination of ESG audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform core general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Lead the coordination and execution of the ESG audit, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests and completeness of evidence.
• Participate in month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting, preparing accruals and schedules and submitting monthly and ad hoc financial reporting packages as directed by management.
