Job summary

Addison Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. You will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensure timely reporting to divisional leadership, and support month-end close and reconciliations.

You will liaise with external auditors, manage tax filing with authorities, oversee ERP reconciliations (Sage 100/300/Intacct), and assist in integrating new entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• 4+ years in accounting, finance, or related field with track record in financial reporting, reconciliation, month-end close, and auditing.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
• Proficiency navigating ERP systems such as Sage 100/300/Intacct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements per GAAP and report to divisional leadership.
• Assist in monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements with reconciliation.
• Lead reconciliations of key accounts (Payroll, Accruals, Leases, Fixed Assets, Intangible Assets).
• Serve as liaison for external auditors and coordinate required documentation.
• Review statements for accuracy and regulatory compliance; ensure proper allocation/expensing of corporate charges.
• Oversee tax forms filing with federal, state, and local agencies; coordinate licensing with consultants.
• Identify and resolve ERP transactional errors; streamline processes for data integrity.
• Support integration of newly acquired entities into corporate accounting systems.
