Job summary

Addison Group partners with a healthcare operating organization to hire a Senior Accountant in Nashville, TN. You will participate in month-end close, review financials, and prepare internal and external reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in accounting and at least two years of accounting experience, with strong attention to detail and teamwork, coaching others, and collaborating with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close process including review and analysis of underlying financials
• Review monthly financials for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare and review ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
• Coordinate timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning process
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Aid in the completion of the partnership tax return and partner K1 preparation
• Collaborate with outside audit, working closely with independent accounting firm and providing all requested deliverables
