We are partnering with a growing professional services firm in North County San Diego that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on an immediate basis. This is a hands‑on opportunity to step into a high‑impact role supporting a lean, fast‑paced accounting team.

About the Role:

This position will play a key role in supporting the company’s corporate accounting function across multiple entities. The role has a strong emphasis on accounts payable and intercompany transactions, along with core general ledger responsibilities and month‑end close support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high-volume accounts payable processes, including both external vendors and intercompany activity
• Handle intercompany transactions, including lending and related reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
• Support month‑end close across multiple entities
• Assist with cash management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to financial reporting and audit support (annual audits)
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial data

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally at the Senior Accountant level
• Strong experience with accounts payable and intercompany accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
• Experience working in a multi‑entity environment
• Background in professional services or financial services is a plus
• Ability to operate independently and thrive in a lean team environment
