Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role will handle day-to-day accounting activities while assisting leadership with audits, controls, and process improvements.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, accruals, and financial reporting
• Support payroll processing and benefits administration
• Prepare and review AR/AP entries, job costing, and billing
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Assist with compliance reporting, licenses, and insurance renewals
• Prepare supporting schedules for audits and serve as point of contact for external auditors
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise (Construction Edition) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting a plus
