Job description

Vaco is working with a company in the pharmaceutical industry to find a Senior Accountant with similar industry experience, with a focus on month end close, GL and Gross to Net (GTN) exposure. QuickBooks experience is required.

This position sits in Raritan Valley region of Monmouth County, NJ and allows for 1 day a week remote work.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, the month-end closing process including the day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and consolidated month-end reporting. They will also support pharmaceutical-specific financial activities, such as wholesaler and distributor transactions, customer deductions, chargebacks, rebates, fees, and related reconciliations.

Required

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including month end close and some exposure to GTN/revenue accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with AP/AR and bank reconciliations
• Experience in life sciences or healthcare is highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Target salary range: $100-110k plus bonus and other perks. Great vacation package.
