Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and backup bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing.
• Maintain employee payroll records.
• Create and post payroll journal entries to the general ledger.
• Audit benefit withholdings against provider invoices with HR.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure timesheet compliance with the employee handbook.
• Ensure tax compliance with various states/local municipalities.
• Verify 401(k) contribution funding and employer matching contributions.
• Perform month- and year-end account reconciliations and prepare schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Assist with overflow accounts payable work.
• Identify and implement departmental efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the CFO and Controller on special projects and department improvement initiatives.
