Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting workpapers for complex accounting areas
• Lead monthly close activities and designated global entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Analyze financial accounts, record necessary adjustments, and maintain compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Prepare and review financial and operational reports, communicating key findings to business partners and stakeholders
• Support audits, financial statement disclosures, technical accounting research, and related documentation
• Drive process and system improvements while partnering across accounting, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams

Our client is an organization in the Hennepin County area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, organized, and independent. The salary for this position is $72K - $109K.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting workpapers for complex accounting areas
• Lead monthly close activities and designated global entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Analyze financial accounts, record necessary adjustments, and maintain compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Prepare and review financial and operational reports, communicating key findings to business partners and stakeholders
• Support audits, financial statement disclosures, technical accounting research, and related documentation
