Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Generate and submit accurate customer invoices through ERP systems, email, and customer portals.
• Apply customer payments and resolve unapplied cash, deductions, short payments, and account discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, collect past-due balances, and respond to billing and payment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer account records, credit documentation, and supporting files.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable subledger and assigned balance sheet accounts to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Prepare journal entries for review, month-end reports, and supporting schedules, and complete assigned close activities.
• Assist with financial analysis, audit requests, process improvements, and special projects.

Our client is a growing manufacturing company in the Minneapolis area that’s looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 0-3+ years of experience, who is independent, and organized. The salary for this position is $60K - $65K.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
