Job summary

Interstate Parking Company is seeking a Senior Accountant in Milwaukee, WI to manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting across locations. You will ensure GAAP compliance, perform month-end closes, and prepare statements for internal and client reporting.

You’ll partner with Operations on budgets, variances, and process improvements while supporting AP/AR and tax reporting in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned locations and close months.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

Job Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Milwaukee, WIJob DescriptionThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for assigned parking locations. This role ensures financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures, client agreements, leases, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).The Senior Accountant manages key accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, client reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales and use tax reporting.
