Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years progressive accounting experience; public accounting a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Strong technical aptitude with accounting systems and ability to learn new applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator capable of cross-functional collaboration with Accounting and Operations.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for assigned parking locations. This role ensures financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures, client agreements, leases, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

The Senior Accountant manages key accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, client reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales and use tax reporting. This position also works closely with Operations and regional General Managers to understand financial performance, analyze variances, prepare annual budgets, and address financial issues.

This role is an important partner to both Accounting and Operations and is expected to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and create greater efficiency and consistency as the company continues to grow.
