A growing SaaS organization is seeking an experienced GL Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and ERP-related initiatives. This is a remote contract opportunity with possible occasional travel to the Lansing, Michigan area (approximately once per month) for team collaboration and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and general ledger accounting functions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and daily bank reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and cash receipt processes as needed.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and prepare financial reporting.
