Job summary

CV Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury activities, and month-end close.

The role offers broad exposure across accounting operations and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements within a collaborative finance team, with one remote day per week. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, cash management, and assisting with AP/AR and payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Support cash management activities, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
• Review revenue and expense activity to ensure accurate accounting treatment.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other day-to-day accounting functions.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing, invoicing, and financial discrepancies.
• Support year-end close activities, external audits, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects.
