Job summary

Hoxton Circle is seeking a Senior Accountant or Senior GL Accountant for a temporary role in Menlo Park, CA. The position is hybrid (two days in office, three days remote) and compensation is up to $60 per hour, DOE. The assignment lasts at least five months with potential extension.

Responsibilities include complex GL work, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and audit prep. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and 5+ years of experience with GAAP and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Location: Menlo Park, CA
Hybrid: Two days in the office/three days working remotely from home.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills. Someone who is resourceful, collaborative, comfortable working independently, and willing to pitch in wherever needed will do particularly well in this assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Investigate accounting discrepancies and independently resolve issues.

• Support month-end and quarterly close activities.

• Prepare supporting accounting schedules and financial reports.

• Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and workpapers.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Senior Accountant or Senior GL Accountant experience.
