Job summary

Hoxton Circle is seeking a Senior Accountant or Senior GL Accountant for a temporary role in Menlo Park, CA. The position is hybrid (two days in office, three days remote) and compensation is up to $60 per hour, DOE. The assignment lasts at least five months with potential extension.

Responsibilities include complex GL work, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and audit prep. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and 5+ years of experience with GAAP and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of senior accounting or senior GL experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and GL experience.
• Experience with complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Solid month-end close, financial reporting and audit prep.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with a large ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support month-end and quarterly close activities.
• Prepare supporting accounting schedules and financial reports.
• Assist with audit preparation, including schedules and work papers.
