Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate general ledger and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes across multiple entities in a healthcare setting.

You will prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, perform P&L and balance sheet analyses, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while supporting audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of progressive general ledger accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, in physician practice, MSO, or multi-entity healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting.
  • Strong experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Power Query, and large-data-set analysis.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or FloQast preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Operations to resolve accounting issues.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation.
  • Maintain effective accounting controls and supporting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and close efficiency.
  • Assist with accounting system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
  • Support special projects, acquisitions, integrations, and other financial initiatives as needed.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and supporting timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. This role performs complex accounting activities, reconciliations, financial analysis, and audit support while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. The Senior Accountant works closely with Finance and operational teams in a multi-entity healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
