Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking a Senior Accountant in Sugar Land, TX for a contract-to-hire, hybrid role with free parking and immediate interviews.

The Senior Accountant will lead month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities while mentoring Staff Accountants and partnering with operations leadership. Key duties include complex reconciliations and revenue analysis, ensuring accurate GL entries, budgeting support, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with JD Edwards or another ERP system.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a confidential client seeking a Senior Accountant to lead a portfolio of accounting activities while mentoring Staff Accountants and partnering closely with operations leadership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys solving complex issues, leading others, and taking ownership beyond the traditional month-end close process.

Responsibilities

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.50 per hour
