Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking a qualified accounting professional to support monthly close, consolidations, and financial reporting across regions. You will partner with diverse teams, tackle technical accounting matters, and drive automation and process improvements within a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or strong public accounting foundation, 4+ years of accounting experience, and a solid grasp of U.S. GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with consolidations, technical accounting, and financial reporting preferred.
• CPA and/or public accounting foundation strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP, OneStream or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Lead consolidation of financial results, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Assist with technical accounting matters, including business combinations, equity accounting, and other complex transactions.
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to improve processes, enhance controls, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and financial statement disclosures.
• Participate in system implementations, automation initiatives, and special projects.
• Research accounting issues and prepare supporting documentation and analyses as needed.
