Job summary

Connect Search, LLC in the Dallas area seeks a Senior Accountant to support growth and build out the accounting function. The role offers a hybrid work schedule and a base salary between $100,000 and $120,000 plus bonus.

The company is projected to double in size in coming years and needs someone to help scale the accounting team. Lead month-end close, GAAP financial statements, and robust balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger activity, including revenue, expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare cash flow reporting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Support annual audits, tax compliance, internal controls, and external reporting.
• Partner cross functionally with FP&A, AP, AR, Operations, and other teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and streamline the month end close.

They’re looking for a Senior Accountant who can help support that growth and continue to build out the accounting function.

This position pays between $100K-120K base + bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
