Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leading or supervising accounting teams.
• Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or rapidly changing organization.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proven experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments and with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger activities, revenue recognition, accruals, and balance sheet integrity.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls to support continued company growth.
• Partner with Korean headquarters, external accountants, auditors, and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency, shorten close cycles, and improve reporting accuracy.
• Support SAP optimization, reporting enhancements, and system integrations.
• Provide accounting guidance and leadership in a dynamic, evolving business environment.
