This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the accounting function. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and leadership team, taking ownership of key accounting activities while helping strengthen processes, reporting, and controls as the company continues to expand.

What You'll Do
- Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, account schedules, and variance analyses.
- Take ownership of general ledger accounting, ensuring transactions are accurate, complete, and properly supported.
- Oversee and support AP, AR, and cash management activities.
- Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial schedules and reporting packages for management and leadership review.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, and financial planning.
- Ensure accounting activities comply with US GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
- Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and other financial and regulatory reporting.
- Partner with operations and leadership to identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.
- Assist with ERP/accounting system enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
- Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis as requested by leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
- Proven experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with and analyze financial data.
- Experience with an ERP or accounting system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with leadership and operational teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-accounting stakeholders.
