A rapidly growing, PE-backed organization in the construction/project-based services space is looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll work closely with leadership, help support multiple entities, and gain exposure to both portfolio company accounting and private equity operations — which is honestly pretty rare at this level.

This team moves fast, wears multiple hats, and wants someone who is excited to jump in and help build something, not just “maintain” it. One day could involve reconciliations and financial reporting, the next could involve forecasting, process improvements, or partnering with operations teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own key pieces of the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare financial statements and support GAAP compliance
• Perform reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational support
• Help improve accounting processes as the company continues growing
• Partner with leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Support AP/AR functions within a lean accounting group
• Assist with multi-entity accounting and acquisition-related projects

What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–7 years of accounting experience
• Construction or project-based industry experience preferred
• PE-backed company experience is a huge plus
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Public accounting background is a plus
• QuickBooks and/or ERP system experience preferred
• Someone organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and not afraid of a little chaos here and there
• Strong communication skills — able to work with everyone from field teams to executives without skipping a beat
