The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting principles. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements.
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
