Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all general ledger transactions and ensuring their accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as monitoring actual results against these projections.
  • Performing account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to support the company's growth.
  • Providing support during audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, the candidate must possess the following:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Profound knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, and account reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
