Tri Delta is looking to hire for our Finance Team, and you do not need to be a member to apply! We are actively searching for a Senior Accountant responsible for key components of the month-end close, preparing financial statements, overseeing account reconciliations, and driving process improvements. This role requires advanced accounting expertise and analytical skills to manage financial reporting, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making while collaborating with staff across all business entities: Executive Office (EO), Park Street Properties (PSP), Tri Delta Housing (TDH), and the Foundation.

The Senior Accountant role is remote eligible or could be hybrid within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role, offering medical, dental, and vision plans, a retirement plan, paid time off, and other benefits. • Status: Full-time (remote eligible or hybrid within Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Travel: 5%
• Supervised by: Controller

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
2. Account Reconciliation: Perform and oversee reconciliations for complex accounts, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
3. Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including posting journal entries, reviewing account balances, and finalizing reports.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Collaborate with the finance team on annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
5. Audit Preparation and Coordination: Assist with audits, prepare documentation, and coordinate audit requests.
6. Process Improvement and Automation: Identify and implement best practices to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and reduce manual efforts.
7. Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Support AP/AR functions to ensure accurate processing, payments, billing, and collections.
8. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including tax filings and organizational policies.
9. Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering continuous learning.

Qualifications include:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
3. Advanced Excel skills required
4. Detail-oriented, critical thinker, self-starter, customer service focused
5. Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus
