Senior Accountant – Dallas, TX

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Accountant opportunity with a well-established consumer services organization located in Dallas, TX. The Senior Accountant will support corporate accounting efforts, and will be involved with month-end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), fixed-asset accounting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years of related corporate accounting experience, including strong revenue recognition and fixed asset accounting experience. Qualified candidates will be eligible for 100% remote flexibility (MUST be able to work CST hours).

Senior Accountant – Dallas, TX

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Accountant opportunity with a well-established consumer services organization located in Dallas, TX. The Senior Accountant will support corporate accounting efforts, and will be involved with month-end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), fixed-asset accounting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years of related corporate accounting experience, including strong revenue recognition and fixed asset accounting experience. Qualified candidates will be eligible for 100% remote flexibility (MUST be able to work CST hours).

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity, paying between $40-$50/hour (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Analyze COGS, ensuring accurate expense classification and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for general ledger management and financial reporting.
• Process accounts payable and expense reports using Bill.com and Concur.
• Leverage Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Support audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 4-6+ years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, fixed asset accounting, and COGS.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop, Bill.com, and Concur)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
