Job Title: Corporate Accountant V – Temp-to-Perm (Remote, EST Preferred)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Pay: $55 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (100% Remote)

Position Summary
The Corporate Accountant will support the integration of a recent acquisition into the parent company’s accounting system. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, executing the month-end close process, and supporting both GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
• Integrate the recent acquisition’s accounting activity into the parent system
• Maintain General Ledger mapping between seller and parent system
• Load and automate Trial Balance imports from seller
• Drive month-end General Ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Coordinate monthly close with seller’s and internal teams
• Prepare and enter journal entries including GAAP and statutory adjustments
• Calculate accruals and perform P&L analysis with variance explanations
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate transaction coding
• Conduct account analysis and propose adjusting entries as needed
• Support annual audit by preparing requested schedules

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience working with networked, multi-company accounting systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work East Coast hours
