About the Role

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Staff Accountant with hands-on experience managing accounting across multiple entities. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity accounting environment.

Responsibilities

Handle general ledger accounting for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Prepare financial statements and assist with consolidated reporting.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.
Support audits and tax filings with accurate documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and financial accuracy.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidations.
