Randstad USA is seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role in Austin, TX. You will drive month-end close, lead audit preparation, and manage key financial projects alongside an experienced controller and CFO.

In this fast-growing private equity-backed healthcare services company, you’ll deliver high-level reporting and oversee staff work while contributing to operational improvements and strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Own close components, maintain workbooks, and build executive reports for CFO/Board.
• Audit Preparation & Special Projects: Prepare working papers, schedule deliverables, lead high-priority financial projects.
• Review & Oversight: Review staff work, assist with AP review, process balances, perform complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and resolve operational accounting challenges.

Accountant (Hybrid – Austin, TX) | PE-Backed Healthcare Services

Looking for your next high-impact role in Austin?

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed DME company headquartered in Central Texas with a footprint across the US. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to step in immediately to drive month-end close, lead audit preparation, and execute key financial projects through at least Q1 of next year.

This is a key position working directly alongside an approachable, straightforward, ex-Big 4 Controller and delivering high-level reporting packages directly to the CFO and Board.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Senior-Level Experience: You have solid experience operating as a Senior Accountant (this is not a step-up opportunity for a Staff Accountant).
• Technical & Analytical Expertise: Advanced Excel capabilities, sharp attention to detail, and top-tier reconciliation skills.
• Problem-Solver Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• No Tax Duties Required.

Schedule & Location:

• Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: In-office Mon/Wed/Thu; Remote Tue/Fri)
• Hours: Standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule

salary: $40 - $43 per hour
