Bracane Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant ready to grow into an Accounting Manager. The role combines hands-on accounting with leadership execution within an entrepreneurial environment.

You will support close processes, refine controls, and partner with leadership to drive accurate financial reporting and business improvements. Salary is DOE and the company offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level or equivalent.
• Private Equity experience and/or public accounting/audit experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and desire for continued career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting documentation
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
• Support audit, tax, and compliance requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with leadership and other areas of the organization on accounting and business initiatives
• Take ownership of projects and responsibilities beyond traditional transactional accounting
• Develop toward increased leadership and management responsibilities

Our client is looking for someone who can initially make an impact as a Senior Accountant while demonstrating the leadership, ownership, and business acumen to grow into an Accounting Manager role.
