Job summary

ALS is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen our Finance team. You will maintain the general ledger across multiple entities, manage month-end and year-end close, and ensure financial reporting aligns with GAAP and IFRS.

You will support audits, implement process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. A CPA is preferred and extensive experience with Oracle ERP is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with a large ERP platform (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with multiple entities and business segments.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record complex journal entries.
• Assist month-end and year-end close and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP/IFRS compliant financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide audit schedules.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

This role requires strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with a large ERP platform, preferably Oracle. The Senior Accountant will maintain the general ledger, support the month-end and year-end close process, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide key support during internal and external audits.
