Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a seasoned account management professional to join the Premier Accounts team in Long Beach, CA. You will liaison between customers, consultants, and internal operations, managing key project deliverables for large multi-sited employer groups and driving process improvements.

The role emphasizes explaining complex concepts to C-Suite & HR decision-makers, strong data analytics, and collaboration across internal teams to deliver value and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Requires 7 years of prior relevant experience
• Requires a current active Accident & Health Agent or Sickness and Life license with California Department of Insurance or the ability to acquire within the first 90 days of employment to maintain employment
• Requires valid California driver's license and proof of insurance
• Requires experience with data analytics tools including strong MS Office Suite, SharePoint and Teams skills
• Requires experience in explaining complex concepts, ideas, and solutions for processes, products, and capabilities to a wide range of audiences including internal operations leaders, C-Suite & HR decision-makers, and external vendor partners, when applicable
• Some familiarity with formal project management strategies is preferred
• Knowledge of Blue Shield of California (BSC) or prior healthcare payer experience is preferred
