Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Account Manager to deepen executive relationships, protect recurring revenue, and drive growth within an established portfolio. You will lead account plans, demonstrate measurable value of Visa's risk, identity, and security solutions, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure client success.

The role emphasizes renewals, expansion, and strategic counsel to financial institutions and fintech partners, with in-office expectations and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in payments, fraud prevention, identity, authentication, cybersecurity, or risk management.
• Proven success retaining and expanding an existing book of business, achieving renewal, revenue, adoption, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Strong account-planning skills, including stakeholder mapping, opportunity development, client-health monitoring, and prioritization across a portfolio of accounts.
• Ability to build credibility with senior client stakeholders and mobilize cross-functional teams to solve issues, deliver outcomes, and advance shared priorities.
• Strong negotiation and financial skills, with experience managing renewals, pricing discussions, contract changes, and expansion opportunities that create value for both the client and Visa.

Responsibilities

• Deepen client relationships across client organizations and serve as a proactive advocate.
• Develop and execute account plans that protect existing revenue and drive growth.
• Demonstrate measurable value from Visa's risk and security solutions and expand adoption.
• Lead renewals, expansions, and cross-sell opportunities from discovery to close.
• Coordinate across product, sales engineering, consulting, customer success, operations, and account teams to deliver a consistent client experience.
• Monitor client health, adoption, satisfaction, and performance to strengthen retention and revenue.
