Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Manager in Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, resolve complex issues, and serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.

Work mode is remote in Eastern and Central time zones with occasional on-site requirements near branch locations; licensing and CIC preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and client research for submissions.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
