Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Commercial Lines to work in a remote-capable role across Eastern and Central time zones. You will manage a book of business, lead day-to-day operations, and serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.

You will ensure retention, handle policy administration and renewals, and collaborate with carriers to deliver proactive service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Must hold active licensing; CIC designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure client retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client submissions.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collections; maintain data accuracy.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
