Job description

Job Summary

The Senior Account Manager, Infusion Delivery Solutions, is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers that lead to future business opportunities. The role focuses on Acute Hospitals and IDNs, increasing profitability and expanding existing accounts by selling Fresenius Kabi Infusion Delivery Solution products and extending relationships into new areas with new accounts. The position interacts with Contract Marketing, Marketing, Technical Service, and Customer Service.

The territory covers North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The ideal candidate will reside in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh/Durham, NC; Columbia, SC; Charleston, SC; or Richmond, VA.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year base. The position is eligible for the Sales IV Therapy compensation plan with an annual target of $75,000, and a company vehicle. Final pay depends on experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Our benefits are comprehensive, supporting healthy lives and providing support when needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve territory sales quota for Fresenius Kabi Infusion Delivery products, including IV Solutions, infusion pumps, IV sets, accessories, safety software, and Closed System Transfer Devices.
  2. Maintain technical and commercial competence on relevant products, technologies, and services, establishing credibility with clinical and executive decision makers.
  3. Use consultative and value-based selling techniques to address customer needs.
  4. Understand competitive products and position Fresenius Kabi's offerings effectively.
  5. Demonstrate clinical and financial ROI, leading business discussions with economic buyers.
  6. Develop in-depth knowledge of the territory, customer base, contracts, and competitors.
  7. Create a territory-specific business plan with strategies to meet sales goals and identify new opportunities.
  8. Plan, prospect, prioritize, monitor, and forecast sales systematically.
  9. Participate in product implementation and assist in managing new accounts, including travel outside the territory as needed.
  10. Build strategic relationships within hospitals to promote product purchases.
  11. Align sales efforts with company and regional targets through communication with managers.
  12. Maintain high customer satisfaction and adopt a total account management approach.
  13. Stay informed on market dynamics and healthcare trends.
  14. Perform any other activities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years of healthcare industry experience; medical device sales experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, communication, and sales strategy skills.
  • Proven success in consultative selling, including questioning, listening, managing objections, and closing.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel frequently, more than 50%, within and outside the territory, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to prioritize, work flexibly, and maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
