Position Overview

The Senior EDI Sales Account Manager will serve as a strategic business partner within our EDI VAN Services division, reporting directly to the Director of Sales. This high-impact role requires an accomplished sales professional with comprehensive knowledge of EDI/VAN technologies and their practical applications within the retail supply chain. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional relationship management capabilities and a proven ability to develop and expand client partnerships with manufacturers and wholesalers across the United States and Canadian markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by promoting our comprehensive EDI VAN and integration services to prospects across all supply chain sectors
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with manufacturers, wholesalers, trading partners, software vendors, and logistics operations to expand market presence
  • Develop and implement targeted lead generation campaigns focused on high-value supply chain segments
  • Provide timely and professional responses to sales inquiries from internal teams, partner referrals, and inbound marketing channels
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade events to enhance brand visibility and develop strategic relationships
  • Partner with implementation specialists to ensure seamless client onboarding and solutions deployment

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of proven EDI/eCommerce sales experience, preferably selling VAN solutions to SMB and mid-market companies within the apparel industry supply chain
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and closing enterprise-level transactions
  • Comprehensive understanding of EDI technologies, business applications, and strategic value as a fundamental business tool
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and specialized marketing strategies for EDI VAN services
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities with executive-level stakeholders
  • Results-oriented self-starter capable of independent performance while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams

Location
