Poretta & Orr, Inc. | Exhibits & Events is seeking an Account Manager to nurture client relationships, drive satisfaction, and grow accounts across live events.

You will partner with internal teams—project management, sales, and operations—to ensure exceptional service and on-time delivery. You will communicate proactively, understand client needs, and translate them into actionable plans while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of account management, client services, or similar role in exhibits/events.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering results.
• Ability to travel to client show sites as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive client support.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software.
• Experience with SharePoint and QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
• Understand client objectives and develop strategic plans to meet and exceed expectations.
• Monitor account performance, KPIs, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals.
• Ensure timely delivery of services by coordinating with project managers and departments.
• Address client issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to pursue new business within existing accounts.
• Stay informed on industry trends to provide relevant client insights.
• Support Account Director and Project Management in implementing client programs.
• Manage client budgets on an event-to-event basis.
