The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing specific key client accounts and maintaining an excellent client relationship. The Senior Account Manager establishes budgets with the client, is there for conflict resolution, ensures timely deliverables, writes creative briefs and supports client financials in partnership with Account leadership and operations. They are also in charge of contracts and contract renewals, quality control on the account, and actively pursue new opportunities with the client. Above all, the Senior Account Manager knows more about the accounts than anyone else in the agency; s/he is the go‑to person for that client.

Manage Key Client Accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and brand expert
  • Understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities of client, target audience and industry
  • Define client goals and KPIs, working with clients and internal teams to align on strategy
  • Provide strategic branding, thought leadership and expertise to expand business relationships
  • Support Account leadership with proactively planning client/agency projects on a quarterly and annual basis
Project and Financial Oversight
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop creative briefs, plans, recommendations, and deliverables
  • Manage all assigned client projects, ensuring work aligns with brand strategy and client goals
  • Oversee budgets, create and monitor client SOWs, and handle billing reconciliation with oversight from Account leadership
  • Manage and support Account Managers and Account Coordinators, providing guidance and overseeing quality control
Strategic Contribution
  • Participate in all strategic planning, including account planning
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities within client accounts
  • Act as an ambassador for the brand, internally and externally
YOUR CREDENTIALS
  • 4-6 years of experience in account management, agency setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive customer satisfaction and achieve business growth targets
  • Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and overseeing team
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights to drive business outcomes
